R.I.P. Yasmin Ahmad

I was introduced to her officially by the movie she directed called 'Sepet'. It was a movie created with great sincerity and honesty. Later, I learnt that the Petronas ads were made by her. We would laugh, and even shed tears at her ads. And in every ad that she made, she has never failed to conjure her vision for racial harmony, and I believe that is what touches our heart the most.

This is such a sudden loss. One minute she's discussing her proposal with TV3, the next minute she has lost her consciousness.

She was a great talent. And she left us at such a young age.

Rest in peace Yasmin Ahmad. You have single-handedly done more to foster racial harmony in Malaysia than any blah-dee politicians!

Sigh, what a great loss...
